Every Wednesday and Saturday morning (8am-10am) we pray outside the Aanchor abortion clinic on Roosevelt Road in Glen Ellyn.
We invite you to join us! If you have a heart for the unborn - this is a great way to set aside time to pray for these babies and their mothers. It also means we can be there to help if a mom has a last minute change of heart (Carenet, a crisis pregnancy center across the parking lot, is open during Aanchor's operating hours). Sometimes seeing people praying outside the clinic can be a deterrent for mothers and will prevent them from going in.
Sanctity of Life team member Gabi Reczek says: "When I am there, it stops abortion from being abstract in my mind. As I see these desperate, confused moms, I think about the tiny baby growing inside their wombs, and I know I can't become discouraged. I need to keep praying for these moms and babies, and our policy-makers, until abortion is illegal and all women know about there are other options for them besides abortion."
We hope that each person at Resurrection will commit to praying one time this year outside of the abortion clinic in Glen Ellyn. If every person from our church went *just one time this year*, there would be at least 16 people praying at the clinic every Saturday!
