Brenda Dumper

Executive Assistant to the Bishop

Brenda is Bishop Stewart Ruch’s Executive Assistant. She started attending Church of the Resurrection in the spring of 1984 and came on staff in 2009.

Brenda was baptized and confirmed at Church of the Resurrection in the mid ‘80s. In 1994, she and her high school sweetheart were married at Church of the Resurrection. Like so many others at Resurrection she has been, and continues to be, transformed by the power, love, and mercy of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

She and her husband Don reside in Warrenville with their four children. They love to camp, hike, and ride bikes in the summer and go snowshoeing and sledding in the winter. Don, Brenda, and their children also love to serve at Church of the Resurrection. They have countless memories which have been made by serving the Church together as a family. Don has served on Vestry and been part of the communion bread baking team for over 15 years (his bread is super yummy because he has 5 critics at home taste-testing every batch!), their kids have served in Tech Arts, Choir, RezKids, RezCafe, as acolytes, and in Youth Group.
